I have a Bachelor of Advance Science (Honours) Class I (majored in Mathematics) and am at the end of my thesis process for a Master of Philosophy (again in Mathematics). My availability can vary over the (university) semester. The times I will be available to tutor will be dependent on both my own timetable and current tutoring schedule, so please message me (currently, I am unavailable Fridays). Furthermore, I am available in person around Chapel Hill, Indooroopilly, Kenmore, and St Lucia. My experience as a tutor has been tutoring multiple individuals privately (across HS and university), tutoring for my university across 1st-to-4th year courses, and running an enrichment mathematics program -with some uni friends- at Churchie for a few years. For my tutoring at the university, across my tutor evaluations I have an average of 4.77 (out of 5) across 136 responses; also, in 2019 I was awarded with a tutoring award from the School of Mathematics and Physics (SMP). In terms of pricing, I charge based on the number of hours of tutoring completed during the week: - for 1 hour, I charge $60; - for 2 hours, I charge $100; - for 3 or more hours, I charge $45 per hour. Moreover, for online tutoring I provide a $10 discount (per week; not per lesson). Most importantly, my approach to tutoring: I understand things vary between people, but in general I like to work towards developing a solid foundational understanding of the basic theories and concepts relevant to the topics being learnt. I then move to showing how to appropriately apply these ideas to deal with the problems related to these topics.
