My name is Tuuli, and I’m a 2019 high school graduate from Indooroopilly State High School, about to commence the Veterinary Science program at the University of Adelaide in 2022, after deferring it due to the covid-19 situation.
| Raw ATAR: 95.25 | QCS Test Grade: A |
I studied English Literature, Mathematics B (methods), Mathematics C (specialist), Physics, Chemistry and Biology in year 12, and, while studying overseas in years 10 & 11, also took Information Technology Systems, Visual Arts, Spanish, Economics, History (ancient), Global Politics and Philosophy in addition to the aforesaid. During my time in high school, I was among the top students in all of my subjects, with numerous commendations and certificates of merit for each; however, my firm favourites have always been English and Biology.
My tuition is highly individualized and focussed on my student’s needs. With a variety of resources from my high school years – including my own comprehensive notes in each subject that I tutor – I can teach concepts from scratch, or expand on prior knowledge to help my students achieve the results they desire.
Before the first session I am also happy to discuss the student’s academic goals and the ways in which they learn best, either over the phone or in person (free of charge), in order to work out the best way forward in the following sessions.
As a tutor, my goal is to help my students gain a thorough understanding of their subject(s), so that they can confidently apply their knowledge in a range of formats. I can also guide students on working out effective study methods, which they can translate into a successful balance between life and school.
I am available for one-on-one tuition ($40/h) and group tuition ($30/h per student, max. 3 students), as well as online and phone help.
I also read drafts and assignments for all subjects, and provide comprehensive feedback on these; prices from $20.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any follow up questions or to book a session.
