I am currently in my final semester of studies in Electrical & Computer Engineering at The University of Queensland with a GPA of 6.87 out of 7.00. I also undertook an exchange program to Purdue University, which has helped to diversify my academic experiences across various international education systems.
In high school, I concurrently completed the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Certificate course and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program attaining a 99.45 ATAR and 42/45 for the two courses respectively. I was awarded the dux award from my school as well as "Oustanding Achievement in Academic Studies" certificate from ACT BSSS.
I am currently an academic tutor at UQ for "ENGG1300: Introduction to Electrical Systems" and I have previously tutored "PHYS1002: Electromagnetism and Modern Physics" with outstanding feedback from students for clarity and approachability while delivering course material.
I have also had 6 months worth of private tutoring experience in IB course material. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring for IB courses because its impact on my university studies has been profound. IB's impact on my life together with my passion for helping others succeed has turned me into a strong advocate for its mission and vision. Having a first-hand understanding of the challenges of IB, as well as real-world application knowledge of concepts, I am well-positioned to provide the support that students need.
During IB, I undertook the Math HL, Physics HL, Chemistry HL and Economics SL courses and scored 7's in each of the above. Having had a thorough treatment in Computer Science in my degree, I am more than happy to assist with the Computer Science SL/HL as well.
Year 12 completed in 2015.
Mark achieved: 99.45.
