Hi! My name is Victor Zhu and I graduated as the dux of Mount Waverley Secondary College in 2014 with the maximum ATAR of
My raw scores for my VCE subjects were:
- Specialist Maths- 50 (Premier’s award)
- Maths Methods - 50
- Chemistry - 50
- English - 48
- Economics - 48

I was also awarded the Premier’s all rounder award and the prestigious Melbourne National Scholarship which put me on the Chancellor’s Scholars Program at the University of Melbourne. Currently studying the Doctor of Medicine, I have been nominated for the Dean’s Honours List placing me in the top 3% of the cohort. In addition, I was selected to study abroad at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania where I honed my knowledge in Neuroscience and Pharmacology for a semester.
With exactly 5 years of tutoring experience under my belt, including: private lessons, group classes and charity events, I am very well equipped to guide you through your VCE years and share my knowledge of the ins and outs of the course design as well as the mindset of the top
I am currently working with Matthew Sun (48 raw Mathematical Methods and 48 raw Specialist Mathematics in 2014) and Dinuk Liyanage (50 raw Further Mathematics and 46 raw Mathematical Methods) at Premier Education, a tuition business we have established in the heart of Blackburn focussing on small group classes to help you discover your full potential and achieve excellence. We offer classes for VCE Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics and Further Mathematics for Units 1/2 and 3/4 as well as maths for years 7-8 and 9-10.
We have worked hard to put together this tailored curriculum with a modern setup and fully recorded lessons. For the last 5 years, this curriculum has been used by all of us with excellent results. Please contact me for a free initial consultation and a free initial capacity assessment where we create a tailored course plan for our students.
Mathematics is arguably one of the most important courses in VCE due to it being a prerequisite for many common university pathways and its usefulness in life beyond high school. Despite this, it is often the case that the school curriculum is inadequate at giving students the tools to succeed. That’s why I believe that with our help, you will be able to achieve excellence, no matter your ability level.
