TAKING BOOKINGS FOR 2021

Hello there!

My name is Jess and I am a qualified high school teacher in both English and HSIE subject areas. I have been teaching for the last 3 years and have helped to coordinate the Homework Centre for 2 years and have worked on a casual basis throughout 2020. In 2021, I will be undertaking postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney. I have tutored students from Year 7 to university level across a range of arts and humanities areas, and am happy to take on group tutoring for students K-6.

Through my volunteer and practical work, I have accumulated a variety of resources, scaffolds, and informative texts for students who require additional support as well as gifted and advanced students. Teaching is my passion, and nothing is more rewarding than assisting students to become the best that they can be academically.

I am happy to negotiate for sessions outside of my set hours for one on one sessions, and will happily hold classes over school holiday periods. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Reviews

In the short time, that my 17 year daughter ‘A’, has been tutoring with Jess (February, 2020), I have seen a marked improvement in her grade. From Term 1 to Term 2, she moved from a Band 3 to Band 5, in Business Studies. Thank you for supporting her throughout her studies in the first two terms of this year. We both look forward to further success in the remaining terms, HSC and beyond.

With kind regards,
Salaam.
(A’s mother).
