Liam A Very responsive
Tutoring near West Perth, Perth, WA

About

Hi there! My name is Liam. I moved to Perth in 2015 to study Classical Singing at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and graduated with my Bachelor of Classical Music in 2018.

I have always enjoyed learning, particularly about the natural world in the form of mathematics and science. I completed the Higher School Certificate in 2013, for which I focused my studies on Extension 2 (Specialist) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and of course Music. I received top class marks in Mathematics and Music, third in Physics and fourth in Chemistry.

Having had some struggles with the modern education system, I believe a personal touch can make all the difference for the educational prospects of a student. I believe teaching is the most important and noble thing anyone in our society can do. I want to take my experiences with education, both positive and negative, and use them to offer the best learning opportunity for students who might otherwise struggle, or who simply want to make the most of their schooling.

My approach is to have an open and honest dialogue with my students. Everyone has their own learning style, and I strive to help students discover what works for them. My ultimate goal is to show students how to become their own tutor so they no longer need me.

Travel policy

I can travel up to 20 minutes away from my primary location for my usual rate. I am happy to discuss traveling further, bearing in mind the limitations it does place on my capacity to take on more students.
