Hi, I'm Dimity and I graduated from Clayfield College in 2024 as College DUX, with an ATAR of 99.10. I am now studying a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours)/Biotechnology at the University of Queensland, and am a Liveris Academy Scholar, and a recipient of the Santos Engineering Scholarship. I have both private and group tutoring experience, and specialise in QCAA Years 10-12 Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. With a deep understanding of the QCAA curriculum and assessment system, I aim to help students not only understand the content, but also develop and master the problem-solving skills and exam techniques needed to excel. My teaching style is focused around helping students work through concepts or questions they are struggling with, breaking them down into manageable steps and building a thorough understanding. I also assist students with assignments and provide guidance on how to structure and write responses that achieve top marks. I know the QCAA system can sometimes feel overwhelming and impossible to understand; I've been there myself! Through my own experience, and now as a tutor, I have developed the knowledge and strategies to help students feel more confident, prepared and in control of their studies. I am based around Clayfield, however offer tutoring wherever suits you, whether that be a local/school library or home visits. I also offer online tutoring, particularly for assignment support. I know life is busy, so I am keen to work in with your schedule to find a time that suits us both, so please get in touch with your preferred days and times!
