Hi! My name is Dom and I've been tutoring a variety of subjects as my main source of income since I graduated from QASMT in 2020. Since then, I’ve completed a Bachelors & Honours degree in Advanced Science, specializing in computational Astrophysics at QUT. I’m now starting my Masters at UQ, also in Astrophysics. I’ve just come back from a working holiday in the Netherlands, which started when I recieved an offer to work as a part-time private tutor in Higher-Level Maths and Physics. I’ve tutored dozens of students in both QCAA and IB subjects, and have an extremely thorough understanding of the STEM curriculum. I’ve also taught Econ, language & literature, and the IB inner core subjects. I have experience teaching from Grade 6 and above, but my focus has been highschool. I’m also experienced in mentoring neurodiverse students. I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador for QUT: an education/communication/mentorship role. I have recently been hired as a Casual Academic at UQ, which is also a teaching role. I have taught groups as large as 20 students, (which have extremely cheap prices, per-student) although I am no longer willing to coordinate the groups myself. Suffice to say, I have abundant experience providing elite, personalized tutoring, and the subject expertise to match! Message me if you'd like some references: I have plenty of great ones! At the moment, I'm charging $90 for the first hour of any lesson, and $70 per hour thereafter. For 3+ hour sessions, I provide extra time to take breaks NOTE: Due to high-demand, for the rest of 2026 I'm only able to accept lessons that take place at the study space I have set up at my family home in Ashgrove West.
