99.95 ATAR Hi, my name is Sia and I am currently a Bachelor of Medical Science (Doctor of Medicine Pathway) student at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, and an Academy of Excellence award recipient, placing in the top 5% of university students. I am passionate about helping younger students build strong academic foundations and confidence in their learning. I tutor Prep to High School students in Math, English, and Science, focusing on developing strong understanding and effective study habits early on. During high school, my strongest subjects were biology, chemistry, math, and English. I was awarded First Place in my school’s Science Fair in year 12, recognising my ability to apply scientific thinking and problem-solving skills. I was also a provisional speaker for the Optimist Oratorical Contest, which strengthened my public speaking, communication, and critical thinking skills. These experiences helped me develop a strong academic foundation and the ability to explain ideas clearly, which is something I now bring into my tutoring. My Teaching Style My teaching style focuses on making learning engaging, clear, and confidence-building. I break down complex topics into simple steps so students can truly understand the material rather than memorise it. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to match each student’s learning style, pace, and goals.
