I graduated with a 99.00 ATAR (in the top 1%) in 2022. I'm currently studying a dual Bachelor of Mathematics and Bachelor of Computer Science at The University of Queensland, majoring in Pure Mathematics and Machine Learning. At UQ I have achieved the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence award (for GPA > 6.6/7), and work as a Casual Academic Tutor in the uni, as well as in my role as Treasurer for UQ Reality Labs. I have tutoring experience having worked with high school students to improve their exam results and perform highly in their PSMT assignments. I always make sure to create a personalised experience for students, focusing on the areas that they need the most help in. Maths can be a challenging subject, often disliked or even feared for its complexities. I aim to build confidence in students to perform their best in assessments and ultimately enjoy Mathematics, as it is a skill that will follow them through life and is required for any further studies in STEM. I am currently tutoring online. I make this process interactive and engaging as I can share my iPad screen to write equations/explanations in real time to guide students.
