I'm a practising IT professional, and like to pass on my skills to people. I currently work in Health Information Systems. I have also built networking systems, Building Information Models, and various other types of ICT applications. I have been exposed to dozens of programming languages and computing systems over the years. We apply different kinds of maths in our IT work all the time, and so I still work with many of the concepts of High School Maths subjects taught today. I have been a Researcher & Senior Lecturer at QUT, in Information Technology and Computer Science. I have created and taught courses for students and professionals at several research institutions. I even wrote a text book once! I think I know what you need to get through high school and up to a university level in ICT. Maths is the foundation of Computer Science, and I can assist with this as well, even if the student intends to apply it in different ways. I like teaching one to one, and in small groups, because I think people get more out of it, quicker. I think mastering foundation concepts, and then building on these, with practice and feedback, is the best way to learn. I can help you gain the confidence in Maths, Computer Science and Information & Communications Technology to reach your goals, whether you wish to study Maths or Digital Solutions subjects further or not.
