Hi! My name’s Elliott, and I’m a passionate, patient tutor dedicated to helping students not only reach their academic goals but also develop a deeper appreciation for what they’re learning. I’m currently completing an Honours year in Biomedical Science at UQ, following the completion of my Bachelor’s degree last year. Science—especially Biology—has always been a passion of mine, but I also performed strongly in Maths Methods, Literature, and Modern History during school, graduating in 2020 with an ATAR of 89.00.
I believe that a great tutor needs more than just strong subject knowledge—they also need empathy and an understanding of the challenges students face. I haven’t always achieved top marks, and I’ve had to adapt my learning strategies many times throughout school and university.
