Hey guys I’m Maddi, a 2024 graduate from the Sunny Coast. I offer one on one in person and online tutoring as well as doing small group tutoring (2-3 students) on occasion. Currently I’m studying a bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland with provisional entry into the Doctor of Medicine (MD). I graduated with an ATAR of 99.55 while studying 7 subjects. In Year 12 I studied maths specialist, maths methods, physics, chemistry, biology, general english, English and literature extension and a Cert ll in active volunteering. I also sat the UCAT in 2024 and achieved a 3140 (93rd percentile) with a perfect score in quantitative reasoning and near perfect scores in verbal reasoning and decision making. I achieved 50/50 for my internals in maths specialist, physics, chemistry and biology, as well as 49/50 for my internal in maths methods and 73/75 in both general English and English and Literature Extension. As such, I feel confident in saying that I understand the process of preparing and completing internal assessments very well, and am therefore able to help students achieve the best results they can, setting them up for a great ATAR! Results: - Maths Specialist 96/100 - Maths Methods 97/100 - Physics 99/100 - Chemistry 97/100 - Biology 99/100 - General English 95/100 - English and Literature Extensions 95/100 Throughout Year 11 and 12, I did group tutoring for students in grades 7 to 10/11 focusing mainly on science and maths, with individualised help for students who needed it. I have also been doing one on one tutoring with students in Years 7 to 12 (majority year 11 and 12) for nearly 3 years now, focusing on the maths and sciences, with many of my students seeing large improvements. I believe in adapting lessons and my tutoring style to fit the learning style and specific need of the students. I do my best to provide students with a deeper understanding of the topics so that they don’t simply memorise answers but are able to understand and produce meaningful answers to high level questions. I’m approachable and happy to answer messages or phone calls outside of lessons to ensure students get the best help possible. :) I'm happy to be as flexible as possible to help fit in sessions around your regular week
