Hi everyone! My name is Joel, and in 2020 I graduated from high school with an ATAR of 97.00 unadjusted, being a student in the first year under this new system. I recently completed a Bachelor of Advanced Science at UQ, with a specialisation in Applied Mathematics, and minors in both Physics and Ecology as well as Honours in Mathematics. Maths has always been a passion of mine, and I hope to share my love of the subject with you all. As your tutor, I’m not interested in giving you the answers. I’m here to work with you to reach the destination you’re already heading towards, by guiding you along the way. Whether it’s exam preparation, assignment writing or if you’re stuck on that one tricky concept, I’ve got you covered. In addition to this, I also have experience in guiding prospective university students into the right courses for them. Having volunteered at TSXPO (Tertiary Studies & Careers Expo) and UQ open days, I am more than capable of walking you through the mess that is figuring out where to go after high school.
