I strive to maintain a positive environment during my lessons where students can feel comfortable to ask questions and not feel pressured when making mistakes. During my lessons, I can help review unfamiliar content, help learn new content ahead of class schedules, review IAs, EEs (EEs in biology), and TOK Essays.

I achieved a High Distinction in the 2022 International Chemistry Quiz. I was awarded 2 CSIRO Silver Crests for my achievements in my Biology and Chemistry IA.

Interests

  • In my free time I enjoy reading fiction books from a variety of genres, watching TV shows and movies, and listening to music! If you were wondering, my favourite books are from 'A Song of Ice and Fire' and 'The Kingkiller Chronicles'!

Ankit was my tutor for AA maths SL in the IB diploma course. He is a patient and knowledgeable teacher, no matter how many times I would ask for him to explain a certain question he would always try to help me understand, whether it be approaching from a new perspective or using a visual aide Ankit always tailored his teaching style to his student. Never did I feel dumb or threatened when we going over equations I got wrong on a test, he always had a gentle and professional demeanor and he encouraged to send him questions I didn't understand outside of his tutoring hours. With Ankits help I was able to increase my predicted IB score by 2 points even as the content got harder. I give Ankit 5 stars and I highly recommend hiring him as your tutor, he made one of the hardest high school courses in the world a whole lot easier.
