My results for year 12: ATAR: 98.7 Dux of Maths Methods and Maths Specialist at BSHS in 2023. I received 100/100 for both Maths Methods and Maths Specialist, and 99/100 for Physics. I also participated in a UQ mathematics course, MATH1051, in the first semester of year 12 and received a high distinction - 7/7. I am doing a Bachelor of Mathematics at UQ. I am in my second year and currently have a GPA of 6.83/7. I received the Madeline Kitty Ravenhill Memorial Award from UQ for having the highest marks in my cohort for all of the first year mathematics courses. I tutor all grades 7 and higher, grade 10 and above encouraged. Price slightly negotiable. Math has always been my favourite subject, and I have a passion for it. I think its important to not only know the formulas, but have an intuitive understand of whats going on. I like to build a concrete understanding of a topic as I tutor - that means showing the reasons for what we do, and showing things visually. I love maths, and I love sharing my passion with maths. I not only want to help people to understand maths, but show them why they can love it too. My love for maths is also why I used to volunteer weekly to mentor students through a program at school, and explore math in my free time.
