My name is Lachlan Newberry and I graduated from Citipointe Christian College with an atar of 99.15. I achieved scores of 96 in math methods, 99 in accounting, 98 in physics, english and geography, and 93 in specialist mathematics. This included full marks for the internal assessments in physics, accounting and geography.
Rather than study endlessly like many students, I achieved these results averaging one to two hours of study daily. I can teach students how to respond to criteria to achieve their best marks in assignments, in addition to teaching the base content.
In addition to being one of Citipointe's academic captains, I spent much of my senior year engaged in extra-curricular activities, such as sporting teams for club and school, and fitness and gym work. In 2024, I will be studying the Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) at the University of Queensland.
I am able to offer tutoring both online (using zoom), or I can come to you, depending on the location. Prices are $50 an hour online, and from $55 per hour in-person (one-on-one sessions).
