My name is Ameen Kassim and I am a fresh 2023 graduate from Stretton State College, with a 95 in Maths Methods, 96 in Physics and Chemistry, and 91 in Specialist Maths, (ATAR 98.40). The ATAR system is possible to be utilised at a student's advantage, given that they show discipline and commitment to understanding the curriculum. This is something which I struggled with in the first few months, but eventually grasped towards the end of my schooling, which is evident through my results. I also achieved a UCAT result of 3150, and can assist students in effective preparation for this unique exam through methodical thinking and enhancement of techniques/tactics for certain questions.

Having a passion for mathematics, I have a deep appreciation and understanding for the concepts in this subject. I can explain things slowly and clearly, in an alternate way to what students may have learnt in school, to strengthen their advanced application skill. I like to base my lessons on content explanation first through examples, and then practice questions.
The ATAR subjects of Chemistry and Physics can be quite content heavy, but with specific techniques and methods of thinking, the entire Unit 3 and 4 can be learnt within a month to an exceptional standard. The way I like to teach these is through real life examples and encouraging critical thinking.
