About
Hello! My name is Jess Clarke, and here is a little bit about me:
I am a 2023 graduate of Brigidine College (Indooroopilly), and am studying a Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. In my final two years of school I have studied General English, General Maths, Modern History, Study of Religion, Japanese, Music and Music Extension. While I achieved high marks in all my subjects, my most notable marks would include Music (scored 99/100), Music Extension (scored 95/100), Japanese (scored 88/100) and Modern History (scored 90/100). Additionally, I have also been contacted by QCAA in regards to including my Music assessment in publications.
As someone who has been exposed to many different teaching styles, I understand the importance of having an engaging, kind, passionate, accommodating and hard-working teacher. I strive to include these qualities in my tutoring to help my students achieve to the best of their abilities. I am also well-versed in the language and syllabus of QCAA, and the ATAR system, and will tailor my tutoring to the student and subject in line with the curriculum.
I am also an avid musician, playing double bass, bass guitar, composing, and studying music theory and musicianship. I am also available to tutor in cocurricular music.
I hope I will be able to help you in some way. I currently have availability, so please don't hesitate to contact me :)!
