Patient, kind & high quality tutoring in your own home! Specialising in tutoring students with high stress, emotional needs, learning impairment, ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Asperger’s or special needs. I can also tutor any Non-Special Needs student as well. I tutor and teach with a patient, kind, supportive and understanding attitude. I aim to inspire and encourage students not only in their high school studies, but also in their hobbies, their self-esteem and in their future aspirations & career pathways. I also teach and mentor personal skills such as organisation, goal-setting, career skill-building, and stress management & self-care plans during sessions if needed. I have a knack for breaking down tough assignments and problems into bite-sized chunks - increasing student confidence along the way! I have skills, knowledge and experience in tutoring students with ASD, ADHD, disabilities or special needs. For these students, having a tutor who understands their needs is crucial. I am here to help with a patient and non-stop supportive attitude. I was awarded 5 High School Academic Achievement awards in 2022, including my school’s Dux of Visual Arts and Dux of Media Arts. I have a professional Diploma qualification (Diploma of Music & Creative Industries from COSAMP). I am currently studying at the Queensland Conservatorium. My previous tutoring and teaching experience comes from running my own freelance business as a mobile guitar and music tutor. Through this passion and running of this small part-time business, I have met with many young people of all ages, learning abilities, learning styles, and personalities. I know how to tailor each learning experience to suit the individual, and how to break down complex tasks and concepts into manageable, non-anxiety provoking steps!
