I’m David, a Bond University Medical Student with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, and I’ve been tutoring for over three years, accumulating more than 500 hours of experience. I’ve worked with students from Year 6 through to Year 12 so whether you’re starting high school or preparing for senior exams, I can tailor my teaching to suit your level and learning style. I offer tutoring in both Mathematics and English for students from Year 7 to Year 12. For senior students (Years 10–12), I can also provide specialised support in Mathematical Methods. I graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2022 with an ATAR of 97.55, and through the last few years of study and tutoring, I’ve developed an approach that focuses on clarity, structure, and confidence, helping students understand concepts rather than just memorising content. Over this time, I’ve helped students achieve significant improvements, including taking D-grade students to B grades and helping children who previously struggled to make substantial progress in their academic journey. This experience has refined my style, making me flexible and adaptable — whether it’s guiding younger students to build strong study habits or supporting senior students through complex problem-solving and exam preparation. Lessons are predominantly online for convenience, but I’m also happy to arrange in-person sessions around the Gold Coast if practical. I’m fluent in English and Mandarin, allowing me to communicate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
