FOR PARENTS Hi! I’m David and I’ve recently graduated from Brisbane State High School in 2022, now looking to be a high school tutor based in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast as I study biomedical sciences at Bond University, aspiring for entry into the Bond Medical Program. As a school prefect and a student performing in the top 3% of the state, I have always been passionate about achieving the goals that I’ve set and helping others do the same. While at school I gained a thorough understanding in Mathematical Methods, Literature, Chemistry, and Psychology, and while I am looking to help students who are currently studying these, I am offering my tutoring services for all levels of schooling, especially those in Years 11 and 12. I know firsthand how challenging these subjects can be, but with my help and guidance, I believe that anyone can succeed and even excel in them. I believe that building a strong relationship between tutor and student is key to effective tutoring, that's why I take the time to get to know my students and their individual learning styles so that I can tailor my teaching methods to suit their needs. My tutoring rate is $50/hour, and I offer online sessions to maximize convenience for my students. Additionally, while my tutoring hours will be predominantly on the weekends, if my students require immediate help I will be just a message or a phone call away. I’m David and if you’re in need of a tutor at this time of the year I’m sure it must be something urgent or you’ve had a revelation that you’re late to the game. Let me assure you there is still time. I’m going to keep this as concise as possible because at this point if you need a tutor, I don’t see a point in boring you with eccentric awards or test scores because I wasn’t able to achieve them myself, but with my help you can. In 2022 I graduated from Brisbane State High School with an ATAR of 97.55 and after reflecting upon my performance, ATAR is more a game of precision rather than brute force. If you need tutoring help, I am offering support in Maths across all year levels up to Maths Methods in years 11 and 12, English across all year levels, Psychology, and Chemistry. Tutoring will be online and mostly on the weekends but if you desperately need help in person or during the week, I can see what I can do.
