About

Hi everyone! My name is Tania and I am currently in Grade 12 at Mansfield State High School. My goal this year is to get the highest ATAR to get into psychology in Melbourne (hopefully!). The subjects I currently study are; Biology, Chemistry, General Mathematics, English, Health and Modern History. Overall, I am a well-rounded student and have received an Academic Excellence Award from year 7-10. I received perfect scores for General Mathematics, Biology and Health for the IA1 assessments. with a 90% for Chemistry, which are the first round of assessments completed Term 4 2022 that count towards my ATAR. I have also received full marks for English 1A2 (second round of assessment). I love creative writing and speeches specifically scoring 25/25 for my creative writing and speech last year and a 25/25 for my speech for English this year. My teaching approach differs based on the student, and I am willing to adjust as necessary to meet their needs. I am able to tutor students of any level in grades 7-9, focusing primarily on English and health. If necessary, though, I'm also happy to assist with math, science, and possibly other topics as well. I would be pleased to help with any homework, exam prep, or task. I will re-teach and clarify any challenging or perplexing ideas or subjects, making sure that I fully get them. I want every one of my kids to succeed academically, and I firmly think that everything is achievable with effort and a positive outlook. Learning for comprehension rather than rote memorisation is something I am quite enthusiastic about. I am willing to travel to places close to Kuraby or tutor at the Garden City or SLQ library. I am even happy to do online or phone sessions !Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions about my services. RATES: $40/hour. I can also negotiate times if needed

I have known Tania M in my capacity as her Biology teacher since the beginning of 2022. Tania is a hardworking, determined young person, who strives to always perform to her best ability. She consistently seeks feedback in order to improve her academic outcomes and applies the feedback given. Tania performs strongly individually, as well as when she is a member of a team, actively contributing her ideas, and considering others. Tania is a student who enjoys learning. She extends her knowledge, conducting further research to ensure she has a strong understanding of difficult concepts. During her time at Mansfield State High School, Tania has been an active member of the school community. This has involved her managing her time to continue her academic success and as well as balance her other school commitments. Tania is intelligent and compassionate person with a very high degree of integrity. She takes her responsibilities seriously, and can be relied on to use her initiative. I would not hesitate to recommend Tania for your program.

Letter of Support for Tania Marwaha – application for tuition of year 7-9 students: English and Health To Whom it May Concern, In the capacity of Experienced Senior English teacher at Mansfield State High School, I have known Tania Marwaha for two years (2022-2023). In this time, I have observed her participation in a supervisory role both in the classroom and across a range of school activities in which Tania has distinguished herself as a conscientious, formidable and well-respected leader. Tania is a warm, personable students who exemplifies the qualities of civic mindedness and inclusion. Tania’s outstanding commitment to her own studies, and her exceptional interpersonal skills and investment in the wellbeing of her peers, speaks to Tania’s exceptional candidacy for any occupation that prioritises tuition of junior students. In addition to observing Tania taking a leading role in classroom discussion and activities, and providing consistent proof reading and editing support to her senior peers, I have appreciated Tania’s generosity in allowing Senior staff to use her work as exemplars of best practice for year 11 and 12 students who have greatly benefited from the insights gained into multiple genres. Tania can always be relied upon to apply common sense and intuition in challenging circumstances, while maintaining an assertive, yet inclusive manner of communication. She actively seeks to uplift others – peers and staff alike – and is well known for her caring and thoughtful gestures. I have been impressed by Tania’s spirit of perseverance and positivity; she has shown remarkable resilience in broadening her approach to study, and thrived in spite of hardships around health challenges. I appreciate that you must consider a large number of applicants. What I believe elevates Tania to the status of an exceptional candidate, however, is her enthusiasm in taking up a challenge, her determination to make a personal investment in the service of others, and the personal relationships she cultivates with peers and staff alike. Tania’s aptitude for academia, and natural empathy, exemplified in particular by her ability to work in harmony with others from all walks of life, makes me proud to support Tania’s application for a position in your program of tuition.
