About

ATAR 98.60 | Experienced Tutor | Philosophy and Ancient History Dux | UNSW Law and Commerce Student Results: - Mathematical Methods: 92 - Literature: 98 - English and Literature Extension: 98 - Ancient History: 99 - Philosophy and Reason: 97 Hello! My name is Phoenix and I graduated in 2022 from Somerset College. I received an ATAR of 98.60 and am now studying for a Bachelor of Law and Commerce at the University of New South Wales, and have had experience privately tutoring various HSC, QCE, and VCE students in English, Mathematics, and Philosophy. I would say that I am most passionate about English/Literature and Mathematics, with examples of this devotion being my authorship of a book written for the school's Personal Project initiative and attending a myriad of math-oriented events throughout my high school years. I certainly understand that balancing a variety of school subjects with extracurricular activities and social obligations can be difficult! Nonetheless, I believe that investing in that extra little push from a tutor can really assist students in their academic goals and motivation, with a strong practical focus due to the inefficiency of memorisation within certain topics and units. I'm here to provide a completely safe space for any questions that you may ask, as well as to just generally develop not only your ability but also your confidence and strategies as you complete assignments and examinations. My availability is shown in the set times online from $35/hour privately, with in-person tutoring at a local venue or home costing an additional $10/hour. I am also very responsive in terms of bookings and also general questions from students by way of messaging.

He received a Grade of A for all six subjects and a very high ATAR. placing him His results reflect his commitment, organisation, and determination for his scholarly pursuits. His Distinction in the RACI Regional Chemistry Titration Competition is a testament to his curiosity and drive for competence using both knowledge and skills. In Year 10 and Year 11 he was awarded 1st Place in both his philosophy and ancient history subjects. In Year 11, prior to moving to Extension English, Phoenix also studied Legal Studies, achieving 2nd in his subject cohort.
