Hi, I’m Haya :) I’m future UQ medical student (non-bonded provisional entry), currently studying a Bachelor of Science with a GPA of 7.0. I graduated from QASMT with an IB 43.5 in 2024 (my adjusted ATAR conversion at UQ was 99.95). I also achieved a cognitive score of 3270 (97th percentile in 2024) in the UCAT, and a total score of 4005. In the new format, this converts to a cognitive score of 2450 and an overall score of 3200. I have over 150 hours of tutoring experience, working with students of all year levels throughout high school. Subjects I tutor: Years 10-12 IB - Maths AI HL (and SL) - cleared boundary for 7 by 10% & 17/20 for IA Years 10-12 ATAR - Maths up to Maths Methods Years 7-9 MYP & ATAR - All Maths - All Sciences Services I provide: - Exam preparation for above subjects - Assignment help - UCAT coaching My teaching style isn’t fixed - I adjust to the needs of each individual student. I like to involve various teaching strategies, aiming for a balance between explanation of concepts, and supporting consolidation. My goal is not just to ensure my students understand the content at the time, but to ensure they develop the skill set to transfer the strategies they develop to unfamiliar questions.
