About

Hi everyone! My name is Han and currently I'm a full time student studying Bachelor of Radiation Therapy at QUT. At the moment, my biggest aspiration is to become a skilled radiation therapist, hopefully working regional while exploring our beautiful Australia along the way! I graduated in 2022 as the dux of my school—an achievement I largely attribute to my teachers’ incredible dedication and the passion with which they shared their knowledge. Inspired by the many great mentors before me, I am committed to being my students’ strongest supporter and believer, no matter where they are in their academic journey. As your tutor, I will always meet you where you are without judgement, and provide realistic, effective strategies that have been carefully honed through my years of learning and mentoring to build your confidence and skills. Whether your goal is gaining entry into your dream university course, achieving a B or A in your next exam, or simply no longer feeling overwhelmed from falling behind at school, I am confident that I can support and push you all the way to the finish line. My portfolio: I’ve used tutoring services throughout my entire academic journey and have over three years of formal tutoring experience. Since starting my teaching in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of working with leading organisations such as Cluey Learning, Art of Smart, and Alchemy Tuition, and have also been invited to tutor at some of Brisbane’s top private schools. From 2024 to 2025, I tutored full-time from my home studio after taking a gap year from university - an experience that reinforced just how powerful the right support and hard work can be. During this time, I worked with students across a wide range of year levels, academic abilities, personalities, learning styles, and post-school goals; committing myself fully to each student’s journey. As a result, all five of my Year 12 students who aimed for high academic outcomes placed within the top 10% of ATAR scores in 2025 - an achievement I am incredibly proud of. Another highlight was helping students who had previously struggled to pass their subjects achieve Bs and As in their next exams. Seeing the relief and pleasantly surprised reactions from those students and their parents made every extra hour of work worthwhile, and reminded me why I love this job so much! My motto: Beyond academic results, what matters most to me is helping students push through self-doubt, rebuild strong foundations when they feel behind, overcome setbacks, and realise they are capable of far more than they believe. Walking alongside my students through challenges and celebrating their successes - whether through smiles, gratitude, or even happy tears from both students and families - is why I love this work. No matter your starting point or goal, I bring the same energy, care, and commitment to every student, and I’m ready to help you move forward with confidence. My teaching style: Studying is the practice of learning and one of the best investment for one's future. Therefore, it is only my priority for you to study right and get the most out of your investment - however it is manifested. As I reflect upon my experience, I recognise how important structured and personalised teaching is. I take pride in my ability to adapt my lessons to each student moment by moment, week by week. As long as I could see your effort, I will always be able to find a way of delivering the content to your liking. I am also great at creating a comfortable, collaborative environment where students feel safe to give honest feedback and be uniquely themselves. After all, for students to understand that my guidance (and criticism) comes from a place of care instead of malice, they too, must also see that they they will never be made to feel bad for trying. I always consolidate learning with homework - a lot of homework. For students not used to daily practice, I meet them halfway and gradually help them build the habit. For students with other commitments, I provide strategies to fit homework into their busy schedules and encourage them to prioritise it. For students who are already doing daily homework, I provide additional tasks to continue challenging them, because there are always more work to be done. It is unfortunate that many students do not receive adequate support at school, and we can’t always know what will be on an exam. However, what we can control is our effort - and consistent practice is the only way forward. Thanks to my formal tutoring experience, I have a wide range of resources to support my students’ learning. I also have a strong interest in, and extensive experience with, teaching students with learning differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and more. Having been fortunate enough to make a positive impact on these students, I am motivated to continue expanding my skills and helping students reach their full potential. Where to go from here: If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out via email or phone. We can start with a short call so I can learn more about you. After that, a free 1-hour trial lesson can be arranged, during which we’ll discuss your current level, how we’ll proceed, and the schedule for future classes. I work with students of all levels, but I have a special interest in teaching seniors (Years 11–12) as well as younger children. My pricing is dynamic and changes according to the student's year level and where they are at - which I will also provide you at the end of our free lesson. As of 2026, I will be returning to full-time study, so my availability is limited. I appreciate your understanding and hope to work with you soon. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I look forward to hearing from you!

Amazing tutor. Friendly, easy to talk to and provided feedback on each lesson my daughter had with Han and my daughter achieved high marks in ATAR (Maths Methods). Highly recommended! Thanks Han!

We have worked with many tutors over the years and I can say without any doubt that Han is by far the best. She is knowledgeable, fun, approachable, practical and very thorough in her approach. She understands the syllabus and really puts an enormous effort into her tutoring sessions. She has gone above and beyond to help our daughter and has been incredibly patient with her. Our daughter has really benefited from working with Han and has learned a great deal. Her grades have improved dramatically as a result of Han’s assistance. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Han for her hard work. She is an 11/10 in my book!

Han is a very good teacher; she teaches at a good pace. She makes sure that I don't just memorise the formula, but that I understand it as well. I look forward to our sessions every week.

Han is an amazing tutor (specifically for mathematical methods) as she alters her teaching style to best suit her student and their learning style, enabling a better flow of information and higher chance of retention of information. She is very kind and sweet, always helpful and never judgemental. Already after just a term of tutoring my grades are improving so I would 100% recommend her as an ideal tutor.

Han is a great tutor! She explains maths methods clearly and makes tricky concepts easier to understand. Her sessions are always well-structured, and good at adapting to how you learn. I felt more confident going into assessments and she definitely helped to improve my results. She is very reliable and supportive, so I’d definitely recommend Han to anyone.

Han is a really solid tutor. She explains the content clearly and doesn’t make you feel bad if you’re confused. She’s easy to talk to and actually helps you understand the material instead of just giving answers. I’ve improved a lot since working with her, and she makes studying less stressful; definitely recommend.
