Hey! My name’s Jamie and I graduated as Dux of Mt St Patrick College (NSW) with an ATAR of 98.70 in 2022. I’m now studying a Bachelor of Data Science at QUT as a recipient of an Academic Excellence Scholarship.
My HSC marks were as follows:
91 in Chemistry (2021)
95 in Mathematics Advanced (2021) (equivalent to QLD Methods)
95 in Biology
90 in Mathematics Extension 1
80 in Mathematics Extension 2 (equivalent to QLD Specialist)
98 in Studies of Religion 1
91 in English Advanced
I specialise in Maths and English as these were my favourite subjects in school, however I excel in all subject areas including Biology, junior science & HSIE, general assignment feedback, editing, exam technique and writing skills.
I have over a year of tutoring experience, and I have also worked as a ski instructor, demonstrating that I excel at helping students and explaining difficult concepts. I believe in ensuring that my students have a solid understanding of the concepts and can apply that knowledge to practicing exam-style questions to improve efficiency and maximise results!
Lesson Pricing:
Online (grade 7-12): $30/hr
In-person (grade 7-12): $35-55/hr (depends on location)
I also offer custom worksheets and editing/proof-reading/feedback with a maximum 72-hour turnaround. These services are priced based on how long it takes me to complete the task i.e. if it takes me 30 mins to complete it will only cost $15.
