Hello! I am a Master degree student at the University of Queensland. I have graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in June 2022, with a Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honors) and a specialization in Aeronautical Engineering. I have achieved first class honors in my undergraduate degree, and I was a teaching assistant for a introductory engineering module. On top of that, I have tutored students for the Singapore Cambridge O level examinations in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The equivalent Year 12 in Singapore would be the Singapore Cambridge A level examinations, where I achieved a score of 83.75/90. I scored As for both H2 Math and Physics, and B for H2 Chemistry. A mentor left me this saying: Ask now, appear stupid for 5 minutes. Ask never, appear stupid forever. I believe that there should be no shame in being a slower learner. My academics were poor when I was younger and I required tuition to do better for my O levels. I like to start off my sessions with a fun fact/puzzle for the students to solve to get them engaged in my lessons. I am open to a flexible schedule with the student as I have other ongoing commitments that can be shifted around too. Lessons conducted online will be charged at a lower rate of $40/hr University level modules will be charged a higher rate at $80/hr.
