Experienced Tutor & Qualified high school teacher! Hi there! My name is Adeline and I am a qualified QLD teacher majoring Maths extension and Chemistry. I graduated my Bachelor of Education (secondary) with distinction in 2022 and I am studying my masters. I have experience tutoring primary school students and high school students. As a qualified teacher, I have great knowledge on the Australian Curriculum and the QCAA syllabus. I have also tutored students who are doing the IB curriculum. I also access to a range of resources to support my students in tutorials. I am easy going and have an open mind. I am passionate about helping individual students to reach their best potentials. I believe all students are unique individuals and require different range of support to achieve their desire goals. I aim to incorporate fun and engaging learning activities into my tutorials as I want my students to discover the content via the most engaging way. I do home tutoring, online tutoring via zoom or meet up in a public space such as libraries. Students can meet me at UQ, Garden city library or Mt Gravatt library. My hours are flexible for online and in-person tutoring. My tutoring areas are: Primary school: maths, English, NAPLAN support, science, EAL/ESL, Geography, History, Humanities, Chinese, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary High school: Maths (all levels), NAPLAN support in Maths, general science (7-10), Chemistry (11-12), Chinese Costs: $55 from my home/Zoom; $60 within a 5km radius; $65 to the outer suburbs (in a public space); rates are negotiable for small groups
