Hi Everyone! My name is Anna and I am currently a 2022 first year student at UQ studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). I am a 2021 high school graduate, achieving an ATAR of 98.05 and a recipient of the QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic). Further I have previous work experience as a marking assistant at the Carindale Kumon Centre and as a coach for grade 9 debating and I believe I posses the skills and knowledge necessary to fulfil this role of effectively guiding and motivating students to reach their academic goals.

Watching her achieve her goals and develop a profound understanding of her subject content, it is clear she would be a proficient tutor with the knowledge and skills to assist students. Furthermore, Anna has an appreciation for learning evident from our sessions, where she did not want solutions from me. Instead, she preferred prompts so she could do the thinking and problem solving herself. Thus, this approach to learning would be transferable as she becomes the tutor. Moreover, Anna has a delightful personality and can readily connect with others through her humour, intellect, and genuineness.
