99.45 ATAR | 4 years Tutoring Experience! | 2021 Graduate | Dentistry Hi, my name is Ben and I graduated from Brisbane Grammar School with an ATAR of 99.45. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Dental Health Science (Dentistry) at Griffith University. I am very excited to have the opportunity to provide my support in ensuring your child achieves their academic goals! During my senior year at Grammar, I studied English, Specialist maths, Maths methods, Chemistry, Physics and French. School is hard, and from my experience, it was especially overwhelming and stressful. However, with the right habits and mindset, school can be a lot more manageable and enjoyable. I've learned that understanding the subject content and being able to apply it was the most important thing when it came to my personal success. Hence, my goal as your tutor is to ensure that you acquire the skills and strategies needed to succeed academically. I will provide you with various resources (exam practice, practice questions, notes etc.) and offer my own techniques and knowledge (efficient revision/note-taking, assignment layouts etc.), so that you excel in your assignments and exams. Additionally, having been exposed to a very collaborative environment during my schooling years, I have much experience in not only helping my peers but also many students from younger grades. I am very open to different learning styles and will always prioritise your academic needs. I also have experience with the MMI interview process, I can provide you with a plethora of practice scenario questions if you are planning to apply to Medicine or Dentistry. I can help you practice your confidence and articulation, alongside providing my own tips and strategies to ensure that you feel ready on the day! I currently offer online sessions (discord or zoom), or in-person sessions at local libraries (e.g. SLQ, Garden city library, Square library). I tutor in Brisbane on the weekends, and the gold coast at Griffith University during the week. During uni holidays, my in-person sessions are exclusive to only Brisbane locations.
