Hi, I'm Bencent, a Brisbane Grammar School graduate (2021, ATAR 98.85, OP 1 equivalent) with 5 years of experience tutoring Mathematics Methods, Mathematics Specialist, Chemistry and Physics. In that time, I have worked with 40+ students across middle school and high school, several of whom went on to achieve ATARs of 99.90, 99.85, 99.45 and 99.20. Additionally, I have helped many students improve from a C to an A in both Maths and Science subjects within 6 months of starting with me. That comes from a close read of exactly how the QCE ATAR system assesses responses, something many students still find confusing. I scored 100% on every Maths (PSMT) and Science (SEs/RIs) assignment in Year 12, finishing with Mathematical Methods 95/100, Specialist Mathematics 92/100, Physics 97/100 (50/50 internals) and Chemistry 96/100 (50/50 internals). That syllabus-level understanding is the foundation. But every student learns differently, so I don't run a one-size-fits-all program. I build each student's plan around their specific gaps, covering exam preparation, assignment guidance and proofreading, and extension material where needed. The goal is for them to walk into exams properly prepared, not just familiar with the content. Available in-person or online (Zoom/Skype), for all grades from middle school through high school.
