Hi! I'm Taylor and I'm currently studying a Master of Economics, having recently graduated with a Bachelor of Economics/ Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland. I studied Mathematical Methods, English Literature, Modern History, Geography, Legal Studies, and Economics at All Saints Anglican School throughout senior school, and achieved an ATAR of 95.10. I've had a passion for learning since the first day of school, and have always found great joy in helping others, especially with their academics! I'm more than happy to work through difficult topics and content with students, because sometimes having another person explain something in a different way to your teacher is all you need. I can also help with planning, proofing, and editing assignments, as well as helping with research to find reliable and relevant sources. I still have my notes and essays from senior school for additional help. I also love public speaking, and I'm keen to share any tips on intonation, tone and presentation. As a student in the first year of the ATAR system in Qld, I struggled to find any help that was specific to the new subjects and new system, so I'm here to share all my advice regarding studying for, and sitting internal and external exams under the ATAR system. This also includes study techniques like time management, organization, memorization, and of course keeping calm before exams. I am also available to tutor younger students- understanding the content in the first years of school is essential for creating a strong foundation for future learning. For Jr School (Grade 6 and below) my rate is $40 for a one-hour session, with a discount for longer session times.
