Currently studying Mathematics at UQ, I am a Brisbane State High graduate of 2020, leaving with an ATAR 98.2. I have a passion for mathematics, have been tutoring for the past 3 years, and love to help students of all year levels with their maths. I am based at Banyo and Nundah library and charge $50 an hour
My Tutoring Philosophy: I believe in helping students to understand what they are learning in hope that they will become able to do it themselves (as they would be in an exam). I DO NOT complete students assignments for them, I will always help as much as I can, and show them similar examples to give them the tools to do it themselves. I believe it is extremely important to understand the concepts, not just memorise how to get an answer to a specific question, as this will benefit them extremely not only now, but also because learning new maths relies on understanding what came before.
