IB 45 | IBAS 45.75 | ATAR 99.95 Hello there! My name's Jessica and I have recently graduated as Dux of the top performing school in Queensland, the Queensland Academy for Science, Mathematics and Technology, achieving the highest IB score of 45. I've always been very academically focused and have a keen passion to help other students out with their schoolwork, especially so in Maths and the Sciences. The subjects I can teach are Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, Economics, and German - all subjects which I have tutored previously, and which I have maintained at least 90% overall in the past two years. My final results were all awarded the top grade of a 7, and my percentage results compared to the November 2022 7 grade boundary are as below: - Chemistry HL, 96% (grade boundary for a 7 = 72%) - Physics HL, 90% (GB 65%) - Economics HL, 93% (GB 72%) - German ab initio, 98% (GB 80%) - Mathematics Analysis and Approaches SL, 91% (GB 75%) - English Language and Literature SL, 87% (GB 82%) - Physics EE, A - Theory of Knowledge (TOK), A I have over four years of casual and formal tutoring experience and hold a Working With Children Card (Blue Card). I have been able to assist all my students greatly - I will be more than willing to go at whatever pace suits you, and I have a flexible schedule. I'll also offer you all my study tips I have learnt over the years - I just want to make academia more enjoyable and interesting!

Jessica is known with very high regard, not only due to her unbelievable academic achievement but also her generosity in providing her very sincere service and support to her peers, positioning her apart from other high-achievers in our high school. The other students and I see her as a very reliable, giving, and friendly person, who has devoted countless hours to aiding others with their studies. For example, I would personally thank her for explaining question bank questions and even entire chapters under physics in a way that's palatable and encouraged me to understand and regain interest in the subject in a way that teachers have repeatedly failed at. Now, achieving a 7 for the subject that I previously did not think was possible. But that is truly the tip of the iceberg in her support, and her cohort will not forget her patience and integrity. Jessica is an extremely knowledgeable tutor with a thorough understanding for what she teaches, as well as having an easy-going and understanding attitude. She ensures you actually understand what is occurring conceptually rather than simply stating what is happening, which really helps when encountering unfamiliar or difficult questions. She is fabulous with background knowledge and applications of what you are learning in case you ever wonder "Why is this being taught?" and she always goes the extra mile if you are having difficulties. Jessica is an amazing tutor and an even more amazing person. She explains concepts clearly, is easy to talk to and goes the extra mile to support your learning. I found that I was able to comfortably talk with Jessica as a friend while learning and having fun at the same time.
