About

**Now available for holiday sessions! Get ahead for ATAR, Methods, English and more 💪💪 ** Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to click on my page, here is a little run down on me: I recently graduated from Brisbane Girls Grammar School (2022), receiving academic honours since grade seven, and just completed my second year studying a Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) (BAFE) at UQ this year. I am an organised and hard worker with careful attention to detail, and I am motivated to help you/your child achieve their goals, while becoming a more motivated and organised student. I love structure and organisation and will utilise a variety of teaching techniques depending on what suits you best. This includes flashcards, quizzes, diagrams, and summary sheets - many of which I utilised throughout my senior years to maximise my ATAR. I enjoy working with younger students to develop their confidence and skills in their academic pursuits. I love assisting with: - Study skills - Assignment guidance - Time management These are the senior subjects I studied and my respective marks for them at the end of grade 12: Maths: A+ English: A+ Biology: A+ Chemistry: A+ Economics: A+ Accounting: A Current GPA: 7.0/7.0 I have experience with over 40 students for over 4 years now - this enables me to identify different learning types and provide the best help to students :). I've tutored all ages, right from grade 4 to grade 12. I tutor almost all subjects, but I particularly enjoy english and maths! Contact me for availability, I can tutor from my house in Newstead, at various public libraries, or travel to your house (rate will differ depending where). For regular sessions, I strongly encourage setting up a consistent weekly time - I believe it helps students to remain accountable for their study and enables me to best guide them towards their goals, big or small! I would agree that there are many older, perhaps more experienced tutors who could potentially help your child, but what will differentiate me from them is my ability to deliver my knowledge in a fulfilling yet engaging manner - I am a recent high school graduate who still has strong memories of what it was like to be in your child's grade, learning about the same content as them and this will allow me provide better, more understandable advice and act not only as a tutor, but as a mentor and friend to your child. Some other things about me: I love playing the piano and viola, and am currently learning electric guitar! Love taking my cavoodle Max on walks around Pullenvale I play tennis and love a good run along new farm park! Or, send me a message to discuss how I can help you!
