I am a Secondary Teacher with HAT accreditation currently working in a Queensland public school teaching Maths and Science. I have 10 years' experience tutoring including Senior Maths (Essential Maths, General Maths, Maths Methods, and Maths Specialist), and Senior Chemistry. I speak both fluent Mandarin Chinese and English and am comfortable teaching students in either language. My approach to tutoring is to establish my student's level of understanding and identify areas of improvement, to provide scaffolding for further development. As a teacher I expect students to author their own assessments, as I would the students in my own classroom. I maintain this expectation as a professional courtesy to other teachers.
