Hey! I'm Yufei and I am a third year Medical Student at Griffith University. I graduated from QASMT in 2018 with an IB 43 (ATAR 99.70 equivalent). In 2020, I graduated from my bachelors program (GPA 7.00). Now, I am averaging 85-90% across all years in medicine. I've have over 4 years experience tutoring countless ATAR and IB students and I was previously employed at QASMT for individual tutoring and group classes. My focus is now private tutoring; to provide personalized, tailored help for my students. I pride myself in always creating a safe, comfortable yet disciplined learning environment in my sessions. The best tutor is someone who knows what it feels like to struggle and someone who understands how to overcome these hardships. I'm proud of the positive impact that my guidance has had on past and current students, both in terms of academic achievements and mentality towards learning. I am confident that with the right guidance, anyone can excel. I tutor both grades 10-12 as well as younger students (grades 6-9) and can help them with all school subjects listed and aid in developing the skills they need to succeed later on. I have had much success preparing students for selective high school entry, by working on their exam technique and stress management, logical and abstract reasoning, and numeracy/ writing skills. I can also do intensive sessions for any students that are really looking to get ahead. Due to popular demand, I am providing GAMSAT tutoring. I have received feedback that By working I am able to effectively and clearly communicate my reasoning which helps my students achieve the correct answer. Being a medical student currently, I am able to provide more comprehensive help surrounding med school entry. Pricing: - $70/hour, Year 11/12 one-on-one lessons - $65/hour Year 8-10 one-on-one lessons - Group tutoring pricing is negotiable Tutoring is primarily online, which has been both an efficient and convenient mode of learning for my students. Home visits may be possible depending where you are located. Normal hourly rate would apply if you live close by. Otherwise, a commuting cost will be added onto the hourly rate. I also provide digital feedback for assignments (IB and OP/ATAR). Pricing will depend on how much time you'd like me to spend.
