Hi there! I'm Kirralee Waterhouse, a dedicated high school teacher with a passion for inspiring students to excel in mathematics and science. With 7+ years of teaching experience and 10+ years of tutoring high school and university students, I've honed my skills in guiding students from a place of uncertainty to one of confidence and mastery. I enjoy finding creative ways to explain complex concepts in an easy to understand way. It has been so wonderful to see the students that I tutor improve their grades but more importantly, their confidence in their academic abilities. Proven Success: My expertise extends to Senior Biology and Food and Nutrition, where I've helped students achieve outstanding results, including above 90 ATAR results and perfect scores in internal assessments. My additional roles for QCAA as an external exam marker and confirmer of student results means I possess an in-depth understanding of assessment criteria, meaning I am confident in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their exams and assignments. Effective Preparation: With a meticulous approach to session planning, I ensure that every minute counts. By breaking down complex topics into manageable chunks, students are empowered to progress steadily towards their academic goals. I love working with teenagers and seeing their confidence grow.
