I tutor online and in person. Subjects include Quantum Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Physics at all levels, Mathematics from high school through graduate level, Statistics, Python, SQL, Data Science fundamentals, MATLAB, and C++. I hold an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, formally recognising my teaching excellence. I became a tutor because I believe that understanding physics and mathematics is not about memorising formulas — it is about learning to see the world differently. My approach is built around the concepts behind the calculations, because once you understand why something works, the how becomes much easier to remember. I have spent over fifteen years teaching — first as a lecturer at a research university in Brisbane, then as a private tutor to students across Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, and Colombia. What I have learned from all of them is that confidence is the missing ingredient in most students who struggle. They are not lacking ability — they are lacking the right explanation at the right moment. In our sessions, I will meet you where you are. We work through the concepts together until they make sense to you, not until I have covered the material. I will guide you toward thinking independently, so that when you are sitting in your exam or working through a problem set alone, you have the tools to figure it out yourself.
