About

I'm Dan!! Need maths help?? I'm 27 years old, currently working as an independent tutor. I have 9 years of private tutoring experience, including 3 years of experience teaching at schools through university. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science from the University of Western Sydney. I tutor students Years 9 to 12 for General, Advanced and Extension 1 Mathematics. All of my tutoring is done online via Zoom, utilizing the shared whiteboard feature. Sessions may involve homework or assignment help, teaching or revising syllabus topics, or working through specific questions depending on what you would like to work on. I also provide assistance with setting out work, study tips, test/examination tricks, and guidance with subject choice for senior years. The whiteboard feature allows multiple users to draw, but this is not a requirement as I am happy to write most of the notes and you are free to listen and follow along or take your own notes throughout the session. After each session, I will save the notes as images and will send them via email if you would like a copy. I have listed my rate as $50/hour, however this is an adjusted rate based on the 40-minute restriction on Zoom meetings. My actual rate is $35 per 40 minutes, with the option of extending the session by 40-minute intervals if you would like a longer session, i.e. $70 for 80 minutes, $105 for 120 minutes, etc. The only items you will need are an electronic device (phone, laptop, iPad, etc.) with a stable Internet connection and microphone to communicate through Zoom. A video camera is not needed but can be used if you would like. I have chosen not to complete the availability section as I am willing to negotiate a day and time for tutoring based on your own availability. I am also happy to reduce or extend the length of tutoring sessions based on your availability and needs. Feel free to text if you are interested. Looking forward to meeting you!

Daniel tutored me in the weeks leading up to my HSC 2 unit and 3 unit exams. He was super flexible and dedicated to tutoring, catering his lessons to what i needed help with. With his help i achieved a band 6 for 2 unit and an E3 for extension.
