About

I am able to tutor remotely and have the ability to use most platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Webex, Google Hangouts, MS Teams etc. I have experience in conducting sessions online and know how to maximise student learning in that environment, using online drawing tools, google docs etc. I have been operating through my company Enhanced Education Forum. I excelled in Maths in the HSC and attained mostly Distinctions in English at UNSW in my BA. I am passionate about imparting knowledge and understanding to students. I tutor primary and high school Maths and English, and thoroughly enjoy both subjects. I use maths every day in my financial research business, and prepare countless written business communications for many different purposes. I have 3 children and love nothing more than helping them to understand the English language.

Nick has been tutoring our son (yr6) for just under 18 months. We tried a few tutors prior to Nick and didn't see any definable results. Also, we almost always had the impression that they were just 'phoning it in'. We have never had a similar feeling with Nick. He is always engaged and responsive to our individual needs. After six months of tutoring with Nick in mathematics, our son scored in the top possible grading band in his last Naplan testing. This represented a significant jump in results. Since then, we have expanded the subjects that Nick is working on and have begun to see similar progress in these areas. The whole time we have been working with Nick, he has been very professional, super friendly and always punctual. He has tailored his methods to communicate effectively with our eleven-year-old and as such, our boy enjoys his tutoring sessions, giving it his all. We would highly recommend Nick to anyone who is serious about lifting their child's academic performance. He is amazing.

Nick has been tutoring my son (yr 10) in English for the past 6 months and the results have been fantastic. My son has gone from a grade C to grade A English student under Nick's guidance. Nick is a wonderful, patient tutor that I would highly recommend.

Travel policy

I am completely online now due to covid-19, but when that crisis is eventually over students can come to my home in Crows Nest (Wollstonecraft) on weekday afternoons/evenings, and I hold small group tutoring sessions in Lane Cove on Saturday afternoons.
