I am a qualified secondary science and mathematics teacher with almost 10 years teaching experience (including HSC Biology and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme). I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (First Class Honours) and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) with specialisations in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. My tutoring focuses on building both understanding and confidence, rather than simply working through homework. I tailor each session to the student's individual needs, whether they need help consolidating classroom learning, preparing for assessments and exams, extending their skills, or developing stronger study habits. I also have experience supporting homeschooled students. I additionally extend a warm welcome to ANY correspondence (including questions regarding homework, examination preparation, and completed assignments) beyond the tutoring session – whether by phone or email. This is particularly advantageous when examinations or assignment submissions occur in-between tutoring sessions. I currently offer private one-on-one tutoring on Wednesdays, with sessions available between 9am and 7pm and travel at no extra cost. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or to book a session.
