Hi! My name is Hannah Smolders, I'm a second year medical student at UWA. I graduated valedictorian from UWA in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology. I continued my studies in 2021 undertaking an honours year in medical research. Throughout university I maintained a 7.0 GPA and a WAM of >90. I graduated dux from Peter Moyes Anglican Community School in 2016 with an ATAR of 99.40. I studied chemistry, physics, human biology, literature and maths methods, achieved an overall Certificate of Distinction and a Certificate of Excellence in human biology (top 0.5%). I've taken a 2-year hiatus from tutoring as I've been working full time, but I'm keen to get back into it and add to my 5 years of experience as a tutor! My preferred teaching style is heavily based in active re-call and application of concepts through practice questions, as these are the techniques that helped me achieve high marks through high school and university.
