About

Hi,

I'm a current Honours student at the University of Sydney (Applied Mathematics), and majored in Mathematics and Immunology (Bachelor of Science - Advanced). I'm an experienced tutor, and former student of the selective high school GHS, with experience of sitting the HSC exam in 2016. In 2015, I completed the 2U Mathematics course in our accelerated Year 11 class and attained a Band 6.

My experience:
I have over 6 years of experience tutoring primary to high school students.
In 2017, I tutored a Year 7 student who received the Chapman award at GHS at the end of the year (this is a prestigious award given to 2 students in each grade for being an all rounders student). I also tutored a Year 12 student who ended up achieving All Rounders in their HSC (I tutored him in maths 2U), and another Year 12 student of mine was able to increase his Biology results up by 30 marks in his HSC after receiving a 54 mark in his trials.

I'm patient, kind and strict (in a friendly way- in order to allow students to achieve success) and will guide students to their moments of insights through different techniques and confident-building tasks to ensure that they achieve their full potential.

I can tutor:

-Senior High School (Yr 11-12): HSC Physics, Maths 2,3,4 U, Eng ADV and Visual arts, Advanced English, Biology
-Junior High School (Yr 7 - 10): Maths, Science, English
-Primary School: Maths and English

I have experience since 2013 tutoring younger years and I've helped Year 4,5,6s through the OC class tests and selective tests.

I have achieved an ATAR of 99.10. I wish to share my skills and experience to those who are suffering or want an edge/acceleration on their school work to expose themselves to more knowledge. I hope to pass on the joy of learning and satisfaction from education to equip students with a wide-range of skills.

I tutor at/near the University of Sydney and also around Epping but I can travel around. I can come to your house/meet up at a library. Travelling fees vary depending on location.
