Hello! I graduated in 2020 with an honours degree in Civil Engineering, achieving a distinction in my final year research project focusing on Australian structural design. 3 years ago I took an opportunity to relocate from Melbourne to Brisbane for a tier 1 construction company and be able to apply my university qualifications to solve real life engineering problems. During my university studies, I dedicated time to tutoring students in Years 7-10, assisting them with maths, science, and English. My aim was to support those who faced challenges in organising their workload and managing their study time effectively. The schools I attended always emphasised learning at one's own pace and fostering empathy towards the community. This background has instilled in me patience, a genuine interest in helping others, and a passion for mentoring. I approach tutoring sessions by tailoring them to meet each student's specific needs. For those struggling with overwhelming workloads, I focus on building a strong rapport, finding areas of interest within the subjects, and cultivating positive study habits together. Similarly, for students excelling in their studies, I offer guidance to tackle more advanced topics.
