Priscilla K.

Hi, I’m Priscilla, and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Social Sciences at UNSW. I graduated from Meriden School in 2024 and offer tutoring in English Advanced, Mathematics Standard, Legal Studies, Society and Culture, Studies of Religion, and Community and Family Studies. I understand that navigating the HSC can feel overwhelming, particularly when it comes to understanding what NESA and schools are looking for in student responses. With the right preparation, a strong understanding of the content, and effective exam techniques, students can significantly improve both their confidence and academic results. Over nearly a year of tutoring, I have helped students in English Advanced, Legal Studies and Society and Culture improve their marks from around 70 to 90 and above, with students often going on to achieve top rankings within their cohorts. My approach focuses on developing deeper conceptual understanding, refining essay-writing and analytical skills, and providing detailed, practical feedback that students can confidently implement in their assessments and exams. I place a strong emphasis on helping students understand not only what to improve, but how to do so. Whether a student is looking to strengthen their foundations, improve their assessment marks or work towards achieving a Band 6, I tailor my lessons to their individual needs, learning style and academic goals. I am approachable, patient and flexible in my teaching style, and strive to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges and building confidence in their abilities. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I’d be more than happy to chat!
