About
I'm an experienced secondary teacher and educational leader who helps students develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to succeed at school and beyond. Having taught students from Year 7 through to Year 12 across the ACT and in Victoria, I understand the challenges students face at different stages of high school — from building strong foundations in reading and writing to producing sophisticated analytical essays and producing high quality senior assessment tasks.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your skills, improve your assessment results or feel more confident in your abilities and in the classroom, I can help you work towards your goals.
My approach
I care about my students and their success. I know that to be helpful as a tutor, I need to meet students where they are and build from there. No shame, just growth. Some students will be eager to stretch themselves and want to be challenged, while others find school really difficult and would prefer not to do tutroing at all. I enjoy working with both of these types of students, and everyone in between.
What I can help with
- Essay writing (understanding the basics through to advanced)
- Creative writing
- Film and media studies (I used to work in film & TV)
- Text analysis
- Assignment preparation (incl feedback on drafts)
- Humanities subjects (particularly political science/civics and citizenship, global studies)
- AST preparation

- Writing well in any subject
