Emilee B.

Hello! My name is Emilee and I am 23 years old, located in rural Western Australia. I am currently at the end of my third year studying a bachelor of social work at Edith Cowan University, with aspirations to complete my PhD. My long-term goal is to have a career in social policy and legislation! My strengths are in social studies, history, philosophy, ethics and I was top of my class for career and enterprise during years 11 and 12. My weakness is definitely mathematics! I am confident in basic levels of English, biology, psychology and politics/law. I am still quite new to tutoring which is why my rate is still low :) I do have seven years of experience in customer service positions and I hold a certificate II in Business administration. I can assist students with: homework and assignments/assessments building confidence with learning test preparation University preparation courses. Resume writing support/ job interview skills I completed the university preparation course with Edith Cowan University rather than going the traditional ATAR route. I understand learning looks different for everyone! I found it quite hard to get good grades in school, but once I began university I realised I just needed to learn from a different perspective.
