Courtney W.

Hi, I’m Courtney, I’m currently in my fifth year studying Law and PPE at UNSW, and I’ve been tutoring primary and high school students across Sydney for over six years. Alongside private tutoring, I spent several years working as a student learning support officer in NSW high schools. That role taught me that everyone has a unique learning style, especially neurodivergent learners (including those with ADHD, ASD, or anxiety). My main priority is finding what actually clicks for each student, building their self-belief, and making tough topics feel manageable. Subjects & Experience: - Mathematics (Years 4 - 12): Band 6 in HSC Advanced, E4 in Extension 1 & Extension 2, plus a High Distinction in university Quantitative Business Analysis. - English (Years 4 - 12): Band 6 in HSC English Advanced and E4 in Extension 1, focusing on essay structure, clear writing, and text analysis. - Legal Studies (Years 11–12): Band 6 and 1st place in my school cohort, covering syllabus content, case studies, and exam technique. I am also comfortable tutoring almost all subjects from Year 4 - Year 10, and have significant academic achievements in the following HSC subjects: Ancient History, History Extension, Studies of Religion II, Chemistry. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to chat about setting up a session!
