Hi, I'm Anthony. I've tutored for more than two years and worked with private schools in Sydney and tutoring centres for resource development and I'm studying Computer Science at UNSW. I speak English and Mandarin. My HSC results (2024) are: - 99.80 ATAR - 98/100 Chemistry (STATE RANK #10) - 98/100 Accelerated Math Advanced - 98/100 Math Extension 1 I teach HSC Chemistry, Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1 and Maths Extension 2 to Year 11 and 12 students. All lessons are online. I own my own tutoring booklets. Every course runs on booklets I wrote myself. I customise them, and your homework, to what you actually get wrong. Typically, a 2-3 hour lesson with me works like this: We start with a short quiz on last week's topic (skipped in week one). Send it in and I'll mark it in my own time. Then we go through the core concepts for the week + extension material for Band 6/State Rank students. Then we do in-class practice where we write full mark responses together to questions. Then finally homework, which consists of easy to very hard exam-style questions, plus a section made of questions you've missed before. 2 hour lessons and longer cover the full booklet with homework every lesson. 1 hour lessons cover half the booklet, with homework every second lesson. Halfway through each module you sit a 1 hour HSC style exam. At the end you sit a 2 hour one. Both are under exam conditions, then marked and returned with feedback. Each module or term is 10 lessons. If you sign up for 1 on 1 in the holidays, we may be able to get through a whole module in 10 lessons. You'll need tablet for drawing, or a scanner and printer if you'd rather print my resources and write by hand. For 1 on 1: your first lesson is free. For small classes: your first 2 lessons are free. My prices are as follows: Private 1 on 1 lessons Chemistry and Maths Advanced: $100 for 1 hour, $150 for 2 hours Maths Extension 1: $120 for 1 hour, $200 for 2 hours, $280 for 3 hours Maths Extension 2: $125 for 1 hour, $210 for 2 hours, $300 for 3 hours Small group lessons (8 students maximum, run once enough students enrol on a termly schedule) Chemistry and Maths Advanced: $120 per 2 hour lesson Maths Extension 1: $180 per 3 hour lesson ($60 an hour) Maths Extension 2: $210 per 3 hour lesson ($70 an hour) Message me with your year, school, subject and the topic you're stuck on, and I'll send you a time for your first lesson.
